PolyPropylene

PolyPropylene is a tough, general purpose translucent plastic with a higher hardness than HDPE. Its strength lies in its food contact approval, low cost, higher cut resistance, ease of machining and thermoforming. It possesses a good combination of hardness and excellent cut resistance, and is eminently recyclable.

Polysource PolyPropylene has excellent toughness and stiffness. It is a semi translucent food-grade approved material with excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, salt solutions and water infiltration. This makes Polysource Polypropylene the natural choice for food and medical applications, as well as high stress mechanical and structural components.

Polysource also uses regenerated, recycled PolyPropylene in a wide range of sheet-based applications. With a powerful UV-stabilisation package, Polysource Recycled PolyPropylene is a popular product for environmental and outdoor applications where toughness and long-life are essential.

Most Polysource PolyPropylene products are custom-made from sheet and rod. They can be easily formed, machined and welded, which makes them ideal for ramps, cutting boards, tanks and intricate parts. End users include Food, Medical, Marine, Mining, Mineral Processing, and Chemical Industries
